GIVING

Like all independent schools, Cliff Valley depends upon the generosity of our community to sustain and advance the mission of the school. As an independent school, Cliff Valley does not receive funding from federal, state, or local governments.

Cliff Valley relies on its community – parents, alumni parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends – to give generously in order to provide the outstanding educational programs you expect for your child. We are fortunate to have families and friends who give generously of their time, talents, and resources each year. There are many opportunities for parents, grandparents, alumni parents, and friends to take an active role in fostering the school’s mission and ensuring the best possible educational environment.

Cliff Valley School is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation and contributions are tax-deductible.

If you’d like to make a stock gift please contact Loretta Chapman,
Director of Finance, so she can assist you with the process.

WAYS TO GIVE

2066 Endowment

Established in Cliff Valley’s 50th year, the 2066 endowment is about the future…the next fifty years and beyond. An endowment provides ongoing financial support to the school and is structured so that the principal stays intact and investment income is available for use. Funds contributed to the endowment are invested with long-term intent. Income earned from the 2066 Endowment will be used to support:

Outstanding faculty. Professional development for teachers and competitive salaries and benefits are essential components of our outstanding school.

Competitive tuition pricing. We want to ensure that Cliff Valley remains within reach of our customers, and keeping our tuition on the low end of the range of private schools helps accomplish this goal.

Travel opportunities for students. Travel provides rich opportunities for students to learn and develop confidence and independence.

Capital improvements. A high-quality campus with outstanding buildings and grounds supports the school’s mission.

The Party and Auction

An important fundraising event each year, the Party is a time the adult CV community gets together to socialize and have some fun without the kids. Join us for food and drink, music from the teacher band, the auction, and dancing!

Stay tuned for details about the Party 2024!

Mark H. Harrison Scholarship Fund

The Mark H. Harrison Scholarship Fund was established in 2009 in memory of Cliff Valley alumni parent and former chair of the Cliff Valley board of trustees, Mark Harrison. For years Mark worked passionately to help the school grow and thrive. He exemplified the spirit and commitment that has made our school what it is today.

Jennifer Marzano Scholarship Fund

The Jennifer T. Marzano Scholarship was established in 2022 in loving memory of Jennifer, a long-time CV parent, staff member, and trustee. Jennifer contributed to our community in many ways over the years, and her vision and voice helped Cliff Valley become the school it is today.

ANNUAL REPORT

Dear Cliff Valley Community,

Our mission is to provide outstanding education focused on students’ academic and social development in a caring community environment, and achieving our mission is a shared responsibility. Faculty and staff, students, and parents play unique and vital roles toward that end; everyone working together and contributing to a common objective.

One way our community supports our mission is by participating in key initiatives like our annual giving campaign, our spring Party, and the Georgia Private School Tax Credit program.  These initiatives help fund the outstanding experience we provide for our students, faculty and staff, and families.

We are incredibly grateful for the notable support we receive from our community each year. The level of participation and engagement is simply outstanding. Thank you for everything you do to help us achieve our mission and goals.
